They also did not add a reliable backup striker for Benjamin Sesko. Over a long season, those two gaps could become serious problems. If Shaw suffers another injury, United's left flank will become a weakness. If Sesko loses form or gets injured, there is no obvious plan B. Amorim's real bet is on internal development.
